I have enjoyed sewing since a young age and began by making clothes for myself. My fascination with textiles was sparked through visiting museums and galleries, which is a particular interest of mine. Exploring the colours and textures of fabrics, achieved by varying techniques, is absorbing and often gives surprising results. I paint on fabrics, and then add layers using hand stitching. However, I am improving my level of expertise in machine embroidery because I really enjoy learning new techniques and experimenting with them.

I am really looking forward to developing my textile work as a member of One Step On, which I was invited to join in 2014. I enjoy the companionship of working alongside like-minded people.
