Having always had an interest in embroidery, dressmaking, knitting, crochet etc., just before and and since my retirement, I studied courses in Textile Decoration and Creative Craft with Nawal Gebreel and Faye Doran at Waterloo College.

In recent years, I have developed and practised the skills learned on the various courses taken. I am a keen photographer, and am inspired by the natural world, particularly colour and texture. I love textiles in all forms, and especially enjoy felt-making, batik and embroidery, both hand and machine, and have recently learned to spin and weave.
