"Tiffany in Stitches" at Creative Stitches and Hobbycraft, Aintree, Liverpool, April 2012
We are currently working on a new body of work based on Tiffany Glass which we shall be showing for the first time at Aintree.

This will include an additional retrospective exhibition featuring other recent work.

This was a display of new work which included our annual group project. This year we each chose shades and tones of a single colour to create a rich variety of wall-hangings, based on connecting calico squares

Our theme in 2009/2010 was " A Stitch in Time".
Much of our work, and our group project were based on an old embroidered Chinese Panel, depicting
trees, butterflies, chrysanthemums and birds.
We included other work , within the broader theme of " A Stitch in Time".

Bag, Christine Maxwell This theme was "Handbags and Gladrags". We all started with a commercially made black or white felt bag to alter and decorate.
